As I've said before, these are getting better and better
BTW, where are you located (if you don't mind saying)? Just wondering because of the weather. I was going to drive from Toronto to Raleigh today but was concerned about all the snow in the Washington area. From the pictures, it could be the Carolinas...
Cheers,

Wow, gorgeous car. I stopped by our local Porsche dealer here and they had a 2010 GT3 also in black which I admired for a good 30 minutes. I'm trying to sort out what I want for my next Porsche (2000 Boxster now so well due for an upgrade). Try as I might to get excited for something other than a GT3 I just keep coming back to it...and realize I'm just going to have to do it and not look back. I appreciate your sharing the enthusiasm and pictures of your new ride. Anything you'd do differently on it after having it for a little while? I'm planning on Meteor, full leather plus a few extra leather bits such as rear console and visors, std brakes as you've got, sport chrono, lift system, advanced seating, navigation, sound, dynamic cornering lights. Not exactly a race care but I want it to be a bit of both performance and have some nice details and customization. I was sad to see the sunroof fall off of the 2010 (I know the reasons of course, am I the only one who likes sun on his face) so was thinking of a 997.1 car but the .2 just have too much going for them to pass up.

The GT3 will of course be quite different to your current car and in particular the 997. The GT3 is like no other P car I've driven. Really a drivers car. For that reason, and if your dealer has an allocation, spec it the way you see yourself using the car. I was lucky that I found a car with pretty much all the options I wanted. Regarding the seats, whilst purists would have an issue with the extra weight of the adaptive seats, I love them and my back is grateful to have them. I would however try out the options.
I think Meteor will look great and will be easier to keep clean. Whilst black is stunning, you are taking on something extra, especially if you're as anal about a clean car as I am.
