I take delivery of my 997.2 Turbo in mid january, and the first thing i did with my 997.1TT was install a cargraphic exhaust because i couldn't deal with the weak sound. Does anyone know a reliable after market exhaust for the 997.2 or is it still to early? I read in the forums that this engine might be hard to tune as its already reaching its max tourque ratings with the pdk trannny. Any thoughts?
The 'usual suspects' i.e. Cargraphic, Fabspeed, Remus, etc. will have their products in place soon after you take delivery of your new car. I guess they'd need some time to test the new system on the new car, as was the case when the 997.2 was launched.
Ferdie from this review of stock 997.2 Turbo, by an owner of 997.1 Turbo with Cargraphic Exhaust, European Version, it seems 997.2 does sound better (& I assume louder) than stock 997.1, but not quite the level of after-market exhaust.
Interesting that preliminary reports seem to indicate 997.2 is about between stock 997.1 and modded 997.1 with respect to suspension "aggressiveness" and exhaust sound level. I think/hope this is a sign that Stuttgart does pay attention to customers and some whiners on these forums.

Moser, as an audiophile (I may not drive well, but I can hear...
) who is into exhaust sound, WITHOUT question if you would like the Turbo to have any chance of matching sound with the GT3, you need to get an after-market system like Cargraphic.
And IMHO I don't even need to wait to hear 997.2 to say that. There is no way Porsche will make a stock car sound as loud as something like the Cargraphic System, especially a daily driver like the Turbo.
I suggest you wait for Cargraphic to come out with their system. I don't know if they have the Loud Version where you are, but given a choice, that is the one I would get. I have this in my Turbo and much to my surprise & totally unexpected as a matter of fact, the sound is now of the things I love most about my car.
