It would be most convenient for customers if Lamborghini just numbered the versions and sub-versions instead of giving names... Gallardo #1, Gallardo #14, Gallardo #27 (towards end of Gallardo life cycle)... Is that Superleggera already the 15th version of the Gallardo

More like version #27
but I I think the Lotus Elise/Exige is still in the lead at version #33

The Veyron is a strong contender too, there's like a million special editions.

Ah, but that does at least mean that 999,900+ of those special editions have never actually been built.

Its not like that many people buy Veyrons anyway. i assume since most costumers want something very unique they take the opportunity to pop out a "special" car each time. that must make the costumers feel "special" as well, make them forget for a second about the obscene amount of money they are putting down.

Around 600hp and -150kg. I doubt it, especially the weight reduction. Sounds like wishful thinking.
Autocar in their preview (which was almost spot on as regards LP550-2) claimed -80kg.

It was in the printed version of autocar only, I am afraid. And there was just -80kg, sportier setup and impoved aerodynamics.

The green, orange, and yellow Superleggera's will have extensive carbon fiber black interiors with the stitching matching the cars exterior while the grey, white, and black Superleggera's will be the same but with grey stitching.
