Kreso, I paid $9000 for the CF engine bay in my 430 Spider, I did not order it for my 430 coupe. it looked great but certainly not worth the money. However, CF engine bay makes more sense in a coupe than a SPider.

Perhaps this inner seal comes only in leather when ordering leather for rear shelf?
(most probably a mistake in the configurator...)
Guess you meant "sill" instead of "seal".

BTW, this not new. I had the leather sills on my 360. While it is true it lends additional elegance to the car when the door is open, they are a pain to get in and out of the car. A small aluminum strip remains to be used for the foot to allow avoiding stepping on the leather.

Ups. My mistake. Yes, leather door sills. And as Nick said they use small part from Aluminium for leather protection.

i think there are some back in this same thread but overall there aren't many pics of the car in black yet. i guess we're going to have to wait until delivery before we start seeing the color range out in the open.

Black will hide the lines of the car. The 458 styling is predicated on obvious and not so obvious styling cues and together they provide a futuristic but a today look. Black will destroy the confluence of the styling.
In contrast, the Carrera GT styling is based almost solely on function and as a result black tends to enhance the look of the car.

Wow, excellent videos. The car seems to be very refined. Look forward very much to seeing the SportAuto lap times and to how all this translates into measurable performance If the 458 would be as quick as the Scuderia I personally would see this as a great result.
