Not a flattering pic--this color (cognac) is quite nice in person. My dealer has a turbo in cognac, with two tone interior (cedar and luxor I thinkj) with natural wood, Burmeister sound system and some other goodies.
Porsche prepared several launch car examples, and this car is one of the luxury examples. My dealer also had a sport example--carbon grey with aluminum interior trim, ceramics, 20 inch sport wheels. Both examples are very effective.
This small dealer has already sold five Panameras in just over a month, and is trying to get all he can get his hands on. It will be interesting to see how U.S. and world sales go, but the car seems to be getting off to a great start.
I have not driven the turbo yet, but can just imagine what it (and the TurboS version sure to come) is and will be like. The 550 HP turbo in my Cayenne is fabulous, and will surely be the one going in the S version. With lighter weight and paddles--look out...
