Note to Toyota :
angry /mean features and shapes sold as "sporty" designs are so " 2001 " , as vehicles like the AM Rapide/DBS , Audi R8, Ferrari 458 , Maserati GranCabrio have brought back the idea cars can be fleet AND beautifully sleek
You really missed the design boat on this one
Specs :
Price - 325 000 GPB - 375k euro - over 400K USD.

Car verdict : The chassis is great and the soundtrack superb. But this is not a £325k car. It doesn’t look like one, doesn’t accelerate like one and, whether Lexus likes it or not, it doesn’t have the badge or motorsport/supercar pedigree that many image-conscious supercar buyers demand.

I dunno could be kinda nice. The front has F458 elements/ Citroen GT elements. Also looks retarded from the front. Interior is quite nice and specs are pretty cool. I do like the c-pillar stuff, nice lines. Back end left uninspired and without brand image whatsoever. Do like the rear spoiler though! Not going to cry when i won't see it in my local streets for another two years or so.
indeed shifting is ancient technology - so is a fuel burning engine.. I happen to like both :)

At Gallardo pricing I can understand, but this is some double of that? No way. It's kinda cool car though, and I love the instrumentation and the interior. I guess being limited to 500 cars meant that it was always going to be expensive. Lexus should have made it mass production car and priced it like a R8 V10. I reckon they would sell truck loads of it if the preview car that journalists have driven is to be believed.

It's gonna cost how much?!?! It loos like a sub $100k car to me. Reason being... its just a Lexus, people...
Details and performance is nice though... I guess they are betting that there are 500 people that LOVE lexus that much to part with some serious dough for this one...

what the .........
I can't believe the price tag, its just way too high
The rear just looks too bad, the interior looks awesome, even the front, although it reminds me a nissan 370Z with huge dimensions
Ok, the sound is not even funny, it must be one of the best engine sounds out there, parallel to the sound of the Zonda F.....wow

Mark Vaugn of Autoweek writes today of his driving impressions of the LFA at the 'Ring :
" The LFA is not as lively to drive at the limit as any of the above mentioned cars, the Ferrari, the Audi R8, the Ford GT, the Porsche 911 and the 911 Turbo, etc. Roll, jounce and rebound are firmly controlled without being harsh. The LFA feels like a shorter, greatly refined and much, much lighter Corvette. Or a lighter, rear-drive GT-R "
$400,000 for the ultimate Corvette !
What good is CF construction on its own? Unless it reduces weight compared to its competitors (which it doesn't in this case) then it is mainly for bragging rights. "A much much lighter Corvette" except at 3230 lbs its basically the same weight as the ZO6 (or 997GT2). It is heavier than 997GT3, F458, Mclaren MP... This car seems like a failure already. I will reserve judgment until further reviews emerge/see or drive one in person, but I am not impressed.

Lexus did a poor job in managing expectations around what this car would cost. The first time I read anything that alluded to the $375k price tag was in today's press release. For that kind of money, I'd pick up a '05 Carrera GT, which have surprisingly still been able to hold most of their value. I can't see the Lexus LF-A's doing the same though....
