The problem is: new PORSCHE aren't always heavily discounted. Take the Panamera Turbo: most german dealers give buyers a 3-7% rebate. Now lets see how the Panamera Turbo keeps its value after 12 months.

Cayenne Turbo S are discounted right now from some (unofficial ?) Porsche dealers with 12-15%. At a price tag of around 150000 EUR with options, this is nothing. The day the car has been registered, the value falls at least by 50%. No thanks, Sir.

Same actually with the X6 M I'm interested in: show cars with little mileage already go for under 100000 EUR "over the counter". New car price: around 123000 EUR. Shocking.

I'm not going to BUY another expensive car anymore, it just isn't worth it.

Which is why you should keep the Cayenne...

I would sell the Cayenne privatly. It takes a little bit of work, but you end up getting more then what dealers offer.

I would sell the Cayenne privatly. It takes a little bit of work, but you end up getting more then what dealers offer.

You can't privately sell such a car in a "safe" environment.

I know a lot of people who tried (Cayenne, 911, Ferrari) and failed miserably because potential customers always want testdrives, they don't pay in time or they pay just half and then want to make obscure deals with the other half cash, etc. etc. etc.

Of course there are successful stories too but lately, there is a lot of scam out there, trying to frame sellers in a way or another.

The ONLY way to "safely" sell it privately would be through a dealer who takes care of the sale, payment, etc. but this would involve 1500-2000 EUR for the dealer. This wouldn't be a problem but I already asked around and nobody wants to pay more than 50000 EUR for the Cayenne Turbo S, so the deal through the dealer is not much different.

Keeping the Cayenne would be an option but like I said before, I have my reasons for selling it, it is a very "hostile" ownership environment over here where I live.

In Florida, I would actually drive three cars, if I could afford it (Florida-style):

1. Hummer H2 - black with armor (for wife and kids or for those moments when I feel the need to drive through Miami downtown at midnight)

2. Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster - yellow (for showing-off, for example if Trump invites me to a private party)

3. Bentley Continental GTC Series 51 - white silver (?)

Btw: the new MY not only brings 30 HP more power and red brake calipers to the C63 AMG. You also get LED backlights and in conjunction with the "advanced light package" also LED blinkers. I saw a photo of the new rear LED lights in a Mercedes brochure which isn't available yet. The new C-class daylight LED frontlights, already seen in various photos, however may not make it to the C63 AMG but this hasn't been confirmed yet.

According to our sources, the new C63 Performance Pack Plus does 0-200 kph in 13.6 seconds (factory claim is 13.9 seconds) and 0-100 kph in 4.2 seconds (factory claim is 4.4 seconds). Both measured with GPS on an early production car.

Btw: my Mercedes dealer called yesterday afternoon, the "game" isn't over yet...

in fact on the brochure in the c63 part there is no reference to front led (better for c63 owners,a similar choice is done by bmw on the facelift)

Yep, the C63 AMG performs pretty well on the track too. Same time as BMW M5 on the Nordschleife, better than M5 and almost at par RS4 in Hockenheim.

I know the C63 is no real sportscar but it performs well and it has an engine/exhaust sound which is out of this world. I fell in love with the sound immediately the first time I heard it, unbelievable loud "pure" and deep V8 sound.
