A shame Porsche doesn't offer 22" rims for this car.

OMG looks so nice, i think this car needs pimping rims. Acutally starting the love the hump in the back now in this video haha.
indeed shifting is ancient technology - so is a fuel burning engine.. I happen to like both :)

+1 this is the first time i see the panamera and absolutely love how it looks, (finally got to see it in the metal a couple of weeks ago, and i think i might get to drive one next week, again being friends with the owner of the ferrari-porsche dealer here pays off ) the huge wheels compliment the proportions of the car perfectly. maybe thats what every panamera needs, 22 inch wheels.

As good as these pictures are, they (and every other picture) distort the lines of the Panamera. The pictures tend to foreshorten both the front and rear views, making the car seem somewhat stubby and bulbous. In reality the car is very sleek and long (some seven inches longer than a Cayenne), and strikes me as extremely unique and elegant. I spent considerable time today looking over a new black turbo at my dealer, and kept trying to find a view that reminded me of the photos. I could not, and came away with an overwhelming impression of elegance, sophistication and modern design.
I should add that, as others here have pointed out, the Panamera is a big car. I did not see it beside a BMW or Mercedes, but amongst other Porsches at the dealership, it has a limousine look.
Finally, the cars (a Turbo and a 4s) were attracting loads of attention--all positive as I could hear. Not for me right now (with young kids and luggage needs), but I can easily dream of this car as my next purchase when my home nest empties a bit.

Thanks Misha, that settles it for me, what the panamera needs are 22+ wheels to look good. too bad for ride comfort.

Another great picture for my liking.
The sportscar stance is very appealing
That is the picture i was looing for yesterday and couldn't find. its one of the only pics of the car that does it for me. Its also the one being used here on DR for the Panamera adds.
