By the way, in the recent "Performance Car of the Year" comparison by Car magazine it was slower than the new MB E63 AMG at Rockingham in the hands of Aston Martin LMP1 driver Darren Turner.

Not the same test, but as both magazines belong to the Motorpress group, the ususally measure the car only once and then publish the same numbers in all their magazines.

They do the same test in case of the Motorpress Spanish publications. I doubt they do it for the whole European group.

Translation of the track-time article:
"we know what you are thinking: how is possible that a car with 2 tons can do a lap fast as a 911 turbo? We thought the same but then we go to see the telemetry.The panamera has more weight yes but it is better balanced. In the long fast corners you can flat-out,with the coupè you can't. The braking: the pccb of panamera permits to have the same braking distance of the coupè.The advantage is that in the instable braking the car is more stable,you can brake later and open the throttle before. In the corner exit the panamera has more torque"

I am VERY surprised in these results!
It's and incredible performer! Can't believe that they say it is better balanced than TT. Also the braking is incredible! Makes you think on how much technically better will the next gen TT be
