    At least 6 boring or butchered tracks on that list that should be moved to other venues.

    F1 Fantasy would be a return to powerful turbos, wider slicks, the great old un-chicaned tracks and large run-off areas for safety. Paul Ricard mile long straight, Hockenheim thru the forest, Oesterreichring, and Brands Hatch.

    I agree.  Unfortunately, that great section of Hockenheim through the forest has actually been dug up - a real shame.  Even though the F1 circuit at Nurburgring has been ruined, at least they left the pavement of the Nordschliefe in tact...

    No, no no! Not turbos! They sound awful and lack top end power. Derestricted 3.5 litre V12s with 1500 BHP at 25.000 RPM! That's more like it!!!

    I don't know how much 1st hand experience you have with F1 turbos in real life but they are great and so are normally aspirated too. But inlike regular street cars that lose sound with turbo's, F1 cars are a different story.

    Sound great going up in revs and at each gear shift a huge bang. At their height in 85 I was at a unique race in Montreal where the field was all turbo's except for the Tyrrell team which was NA 3.5 lt V8's. So you could hear both next to each other in an F1 race. Each was nice but F1 turbos are unique, inline-4 turbo, V6 turbo, just great.

    And one of the great tracks for looks and speed the Austrian GP - senna narrates, big flip accident, I watched this life back then.

    Not even F1 engineers will get 1500 BHP out of a 3.5 litre NA engine...unless the engine is only supposed to last for one lap.

    nowadays... to much regulations to be fun. Its like in any life, if there are to many rules, it gets harsh and passionless.

    I have to agree. The sport has be nuturred for too long now. Some rational stability in the rules and marshalling would be a start but F1 also lacks personality. It is no longer the pinnacle of motorsports because it isn't allowed to be. I sometimes wonder why I even bother following it.

    May I remind you sir that back in 2004 the 054 3000cc V10 Ferrari engine produced in excess of 1000 HP; that works out at more than 333 HP/litre. Enlarged at 3.5 litres that would give us more than 1160 BHP. Factor in the fact that they would be V12s which means more power due to higher revving and the fact that technologies such as variable valve lift would be permitted plus 6 years of engine advancements and you can end up with something like 1500 HP at 25,000 RPM.

    Those V10s sounded much nicer and louder than the current V8s. The V12s of the past were even better of course!
