I think Carrera/Carrera S needs spacer in front instead of rear in order to increase initial turn in response. Light front end sometimes protest to turn in.
BTW, I love your threads that have many pictures in them, Gnill.

I find that in very tight bends there is sometimes over-roadholding/too much traction at the rear. Doesn't the increased track width make this more pronounced?

That brake rotor seems to be badly scored.
That's from my track day last wednesday. They need to get even again..... driving in town will sort that out

Gnil, that is not too much. Keep those 15mm spacers in the rear and put 7mm in the front. The car will look so much better.

I do think it´s to much indeed. I order my car with 5mm original Porsche spacers. From what I´ve been hearing, it doesn´t make a big difference, but this is actually what I´m looking for, it will look different only for those who have an "expert eye" .

Gnil, do you find any difference in cornering with the spacers? Would having put them in the front made a difference to the turn-in, or would it have spoilt the balance?
I did not leave the 15mm spacers on. I have only the 5 mm and I do not feel any difference.
I would not go for 15 at the front...I don't think it even would work as the rim would probably be outside of the wing. But it would be too much anyway and would certainly add understeer.

On my Boxster I got 15mm in the front and 23mm in the rear with the 19" Carrera S wheels. The spacers are from FVD and these are the maximum widths front and rear with German TÜV approval.
I would not recommend wider than this

You can get 14mm spacers made by H&R, distributed in the U.S. by Automotion. I have them on the rear of my 2006 Carrera Coupe. They help fill the gap (percieved) inthe wheel well by moving the wheel closer to the arch. Makes the non-S look like it's sitting lower.

I was looking at springs the other day at H&R but all they had for my car WAS spacers.
I think the wheel should be flush with the bodywork and your pics looked good that way in the rear.

Boothedesigns makes a 10 MM spacer for Porsches along with several other sizes not normally available. They are very reasonably priced also. Check 'em out . Google the name and their web site will come up. As an official disclaimer, I am not affiliated with them in any way. Know them from surfing the net only.

FYI..
Large spacer offsets cause greater unbalanced loads on wheel bearings, wheel spindles, and other suspension components increasing wear and increasing chance of early and catastrophic failures.
Large offset spacers on front also amplify wheel reactions due to bumps and place additional loading on tie rods and steering rack and pinion.
