    My V12 Vantage is almost here

    The dealer notified me today that the V12 Vantage is in it's final stages of build. They are going to ship it here via air freight. So I should take delivery in 2 weeks time! I can't wait! SmileySmileySmiley

    If you want me to give it a pre-flight road test shake down let me know. The factory is only an hour or so drive for me and I don't mind giving up a few hours of my time

     i cant wait to see the pics Mike !! this last part of the wait must the worst of it all. now that i think about it, it seems like the car didn't take all that long to be ready.

    Thanks Enmanuel. Yes - I was very early to with the deposit. So I will have the first delivery in my country. There are only 2-3 more that will be delivered this year.

    Congrats Mike!  Tell me, what made the dealer air freight it?  Or are you paying for that?  I have heard of RR air freighting a few customer's Phantom to beat the tax rise here last year, but they were the only cases of such thing...

    Hi WAY, in SA they air freight almost all the exotics (excluding Porsche). All the Ferraris, Lambos, RR etc. due to their extremely high price because of the tax, the cost is a fraction of the total purchase price.

    Interesting Mike. I didn't think the cost of cars were much more than here. How much is the V12? It's about A$435 on the road here. I think that is about USD370.
