You can get the new "Fuchs"-wheels of the 997 Sport Classic for your Carrera 4/S, Targa 4/S and Turbo from April 2010 onwards.
They will be called 19"-Sport Classic wheels.
Haha... Seem the exclusivity of this special edition is gone before its even appeared on the market. all we need now is the optional "Sport Classic Aerokit" to appear on the price list.

OTOH no one is forced to buy these special editions since their more important components are available as options on basic Carrera S models.
Therefore, to be offered it means that there are people who don't think like us and appreciate the "limited edition"concept, like in so many other products.

Here is a photoshop I did just for fun, of what it could of been if they would of been a bit more daring with the retro design, and for the price it should at least be based on the GT3 instead of the Carrera as well IMO
I like it!
And I totally agree that it should have GT3RS drivetrain & suspension. Pretty easy to add graphics and paint the wheels, but not so easy to add the mechanical pieces that it deserves.

The greyish color might be retro but it is also ugly!
I also don't like this model but only because I cannot afford it!
