C'mon...this looks horrible. There will NOT be a SW of the Panamera. Period.
There are two possible variants, the most likely is a Coupe, another one could be a Coupe Cab or even a standard limousine without the 911-like rear.
Need more trunk space? Hello Cayenne. I don't even know how the SW rumour started.

RC as I said at the beginning... it is just a stupid rumour created on the net. I posted more for the pictures nothing more.... I hope they will never build a Panamera SW!
I don't think this SW is necessary as the Panamera already has a hatchback door and folding seats and there is also the Cayenne.
However, I wonder what this rumoured smaller SUV will be.
I hope it will be not just a Cayenne-kurz (like the Q5 to the Q7 for example) but a new kind of concept. Say, a development along the lines of 959 Dakar car but with more practicality.

According to one of our sources, the "small" Cayenne will be based on the Audi Q5 platform.
This is all we have right now.
The platform is no problem but I hope it will be different concept of a car not a normal SUV.
We'll see

To double the sales of Porsche cars, I think any hope of a new type of vehicle is almost equal to zero. What I´m expecting is no more than an A5 with a new bodywork. And this is trully NOT what Porsche should be!!!!

You mean rebodied Q5 since it is going to be a SUV.
I wonder how this will integrate into Porsche!!

The new boss says that Porsche has to get to 150000 cars sold in a year by 2011, if I´m right. So to develop new models that they need to reach that numbers is impossible to do it if you build new cars from scrach. Apart from that, the cost it will be colossal, and not enough money in Porsch this days. So I don´t see another way of building new models, than rebrand existing cars from the VW group. Of course they will not rebrand Seats or Skoda and VW, but Audi is premium enough to be sold with a Porsche face on it. How this will integrate to Porsche? I think the market will give us the answer. If people will buy it, well it means that the Porsche badge still says a lot this days, if not, well bad times for them and maybe a new rethink of the brand for the next decade, but for this we have to wait another 3-5 yrs. And I´m not aganst new models from Porsche, but I do think that we will not like too much what we will see in the yrs to come....
