Funny these people at Autocar (a magazine I read every week BTW) in the way they try to promote British cars. The half finished Evora to win over that field of exquisite machines.
Last week in a group test in the same magazine ithe Evora came second to the Cayman S PDK but they didn't include the Cayman in the Best Driver's Car contest.
Talking of magazines I also read german magazines Auto Motor Sport and AutoZeitung. Also there, the winners in comparisons are always German cars and second place goes to cars owned by German companies (Mini, Bentley, Skoda etc.)
Like we say "if don't praise your house it will fall down on you".
Take these things with a pinch of salt my friend

Oh, I didn't know Autocar had such a bad reputation.
As of now, most Evora reviews have been excellent anyway, and of course one is to believe that it is mostly due to the fact that the reviewers were British... but that is already a good thing, imagine if the UK did not like it in the first place...what a bad start that would have been for Lotus.
The Evora has to uphold its value/interest for a long period of time!
Anyway, I won't bore you with Autocar links anymore

Gauss, Autocar on bad day is still much better than so many car mags which never have a good day!
Please keep the links coming.

Gauss, I happen to like Lotus cars very much - and the Evora will no doubt do very well
It's just that Autocar and, to a greater extent, Car Magazine, are not as objective as they should be. The trend amongst certain UK magazines is to entertain more than to inform. Plus, certain writers, e.g. Jason Barlow's very pro-Porsche reports in Car Magazine, stretch credibility by their views that often contain no constructive criticism.
Nonetheless, please, do keep sharing any links - like fritz said - they all stimulate debate here
