    E63.. is it a daily car?

    Hello guys, id just like to know..

    Is the E63 AMG a daily car? Does anybody know anyone who owns it and is happy to use it every day for getting around?

    How are the maintenance cost? Do things break often, and how bad is the fuel consumption compared to an E500 for example?

    I am considering buying one to replace my 997.1S since the Carrera is too noisy, too uncomfortable / hard and too small for daily use. Would it be a worthwhile switch if your looking for power as well as daily-car reliability and comfort?

    Bottom line, E63 is a E-class, the work horse of the MB family, of course it is going to be a good daily driver :)

    Maintenance cost is going to be the same as a regular MB too, cheaper than Porsche.

    Isn't gas in Dubai dirt cheap? In any case, the 63 engine is pretty good on gas, in real world driver it should be around the same as the 5.5 regular MB V8, maybe 1mpg less.

     I have a C63 that my wife uses.  It is as much of a daily car as her Golf GTI DSG previously.
