Maybe it´s just the owner´s initials (he must have experience with disguise)? Anyway, I will find out once he answers my card...

The driver just added "CD" to the fun, it is a standard german license plate, unless it started with a "O".
It is illegal to add CD, even if it looks like initials. I worked in the diplo service for 7 years and shortly before I left my hometown in Germany, I put a "CD" sticker to my car because I still had my regular german license plates. On my way to the "East", a bavarian Autobahn police car stopped me and asked me to remove the "CD" sticker from my car, even threatening to fine me for using it. I cleared up things, I already had the diplo passport for the designated transit countries and the final destination but one of the police men insisted that the passport is not valid in Germany (which kind of is true) and that also means that the "CD" sticker is not valid (which is NOT true, there are certain rules for diplomats but he didn't know them).
Long story short: I didn't remove the CD sticker and they fined me because we were argueing about my right to have the sticker on the car. Of course I never had to pay the fine but they were a pain in the a.. and it wasn't a good start into my new "life".
Enough with these little side-stories...I think I have too much free time on my hand.

It's not that bad, it's part of the same family..
Would you really compare a Cayenne Turbo S to a VW Touareg V6 ? I doubt it. 
Btw: I'm pretty curious what VW is going to do with the next Touareg generation. I heard a strong rumor that a 500+ HP version of the Toureg is already in the pipeline. Could be an interesting understatement car.
