a "COOL" million

I don't believe I have ever seen one of these moving and I can't remember if I have seen one in person. In fact they are hardly ever posted on the car sites.

But I think you would have bragging rights at any Ferrari meet or gtg you went to if you showed up in this. Many modern fcars are so much faster and more advanced but this thing just seems to shout cool. Strangely it seems to not even look like a ferrari and at the same time it is the most ferrari.

I don't know how much of that is due to Sonny Crockett, but it is probably a lot. So if you have a good tan, like going sockless, and have a nice collection of shades this is for you.

I like the coupe version more, in spite of the association of the open top with various cool people.

Besides, most open tops are replicas

Even though I personally dis-like convertibles, this is one car were the convertible is the only way to go. Again this car is half Maranello and half Miami.

And I have driven past that dealer a number of times in my life; they have been in business many years.

No,no I wasn't of course disputing the credentials of this particular car. It was general statement of fact that people view open Daytonas with a degree of suspicion.

Their current inventory and recent sales are very much worth a look, very eclectic and impressive collection. They also specialize in those great looking Land Rovers from the past.

There's a cool series on Discovery TV called "Chasing Classic Car's". One of the episodes has Wayne finding Herb Chambers 1973 Daytona Spyder. Herb also has a coupe. Catch it if you can next 8-11 & 8-12 titled: "Herb's Ferrari"

Saw a Spyder once but it was at an F-car dealer - Spring Valley Ferrari.

Just realized/is this right? - Ferrari used to use "Spyder" like Lambo. Instead of current "Spider" ?

Great collection. I saw his 959 in the boston dealership (not a fan of that car). The building is really neat. 3 stories tall, mostly glass in front.

This is the 3rd floor Porsche service and new car overflow area. Must have been more 100 cars/cayennes there.

, 1st floor BMW, 2nd floor mini cooper, 3rd floor Porsche.

The day I was there (one of?) his son's was supervising the porsche floor and we spoke and a salesman insisted I take a test drive. Drove a 997 C2S very hard along the charles. I posted pics here over 2 years ago. That was fun. Great attitude at that dealership and large selection.

The Ferrari Daytona has timeless elegance in both coupe and spider versions Smiley - many thanks for posting Smiley For Ferrari bragging rights then the 250 GTO has no peers, I believe only 39 were ever made.
