This is very interesting I think, all three of them. Specially the powerkit.
But is there something wrong with what I see on my computer, or am I blind? Because when I go into the austrian configurator I find the Powerkit and the Aerokit Cup, but not the paddles. There is nothing between Sportenrohre and Sportschalensitze. Can they have removed it again?
Further up I find something called Individualisierungspaket PDK-Wählhebel which should be Customization Package-PDK selector or something. Anyone know what this actually is?

No, this is a customised version of the PDK lever/stick.
Originally on the Austrian configurator there was "Sportlenkrad PDK mit Paddle ab Feb. 2010".
This entry has been removed Perhaps it is too early for Feb.2010.

Anyone has a photo of the optional steering wheel w/ left-right paddles?
The crucial question still is will it be fixed paddles at the steering column or paddles at the steering wheel à la Audi/VW?
The secret of life is to admire without desiring.

You're probably right with that.

To break it down another way:
- German manufacturers have shift controls on the wheel
- Italian manufacturers + AM and Nissan have shift controls on the steering column.
