    I really start to like the rear end better and better. Black is defenetly the colour to go for! The last images really make the car looks very very nice... Still don't get the mix of fonts used for "porsche" and "panamera turbo" on the boot-lid. To busy. Would be better to leave the "porsche"-badge and just stick with the model like for all other models in the porsche line-up.

    funnily enough, in the brochure i recived from PAG it only says turbo on the back of the car.....

    I expect there will be all the possible combinations for the boot-lid nomenclature, as optional extras, hopefully at no cost.

    For now only the option below is listed in the configurator, with just Porsche without model designation.detail_498_970430.jpg

    the picture in the brochure shows only the model designation without porsche......seems they were a bit undecided.

    to me the porsche lettering is a bit too much.....

    There have been several comments about the "size" of the Panamera.  When I saw the car in Munich, it looked very sleek and well proportioned.  It certainly did not appear large or bulky. 

    I reiterate that photographs of the car (and most Porsches) exagerrate the front and rear proportions.  The Panamera in person seems very well designed, IMHO.

    Hey ALDO: do you know if those rims will be available for early deliveries or will be added to the option list starting from Sept ? I am on top of the list here in UAE but I badly want a different rim style. Can you confirm ?

     As I have heard starting from 09/2009 the same with the sport exhaust. The early delivering car will be missing some options.

    I thought about having mine in march 2010. Rather wait few month. I have seen a preproduction car and there where some things which I wouldn´t like to have in mine car.

    A coupe is in the development pipeline, so a Cab should be easily possible too (apparently Porsche has kept open ALL options during development to make sure they are flexible with certain models) but with the current financial world crisis and the issues with Piech and Volkswagen, I'm not sure WHEN we are going to see such a product.

    Why people tend to squat when taking photo of Panamera , when angle from 'standing height'  is the best and most natural .  Anyhow , here a purple  " Amythyst Metallic "  Panamera .

    I fully agree. I don't know who designs the rear model designation but apparently it is somebody who is BLIND. Way too big, way too flashy, way too ugly. It started with the Cayenne... Smiley

    Real model designation was requested by marketing guys and dealers from emerging markets. They believe customers there are very keen to show what type/brand of car they are driving ....

    I guess in Germany 95% will be "de-badged" ... If I was to buy one I would definitely de-badge it.
