The color is indeed unique. That's why we got it! We already own two red, a blue and a green car, silver is not a color, a white Cayenne is very white and black a bit boring...
Compared to the 04 TT it is replacing, it is more refined yet quite similar. The alcantara seats are better and more sporty. I don't really feel the power difference but the car needs to loosen up. Somehow it is more confortable. PDCC is amazing, the car turns flat. The 3D navigation is awsome and touchscreen is better than I expected, better than the Lexus or Range Rover I tried before. Hesitation has been toned down. Steering is lighter. The sport button is a nice addition, but despite trying to have a light foot, the button allows for higher boost (over 0.8). The dark wood is very dark and blends in lovely with the black interior (I took a chance as it was hard to find a decent pic beforehand).
Is it worth the money? Probably not over the TT but it is a very different beast from the Cayenne S. Good deals to be had right now but I can tell you there are no more TTS nordic gold in the US for sale
X5M? Well it doesn't have the presence of this beast, just another X5 like you see dozens everyday. I like cars that are special as there is no need to blend in like in europe.

So that's the cost of a new wife....I'll bear that in mind..
Just by way of comparison, a Masai warrior would have to pay five cows for a new wife.
On the other hand, they wouldn't have to be nordic gold metallic.
Congratulations, VERY nice family(?)/wife car, I was almost ready to get us the same (just a different color since Germany isn't really the place for such flashy Cayenne colors) but my dealer apparently wasn't interested in a deal because of the related "complications" (he would have needed to take in our Cayenne Turbo S pre-facelift and find somebody who takes over my 997 Turbo lease).
So I guess I'm waiting for the next gen Cayenne Turbo (S) or I may fall for the new BMW X5/X6 M this autumn.

RC, you TTS is a fine car, keep it, not worth getting an 09 over it. My TT was an 04 and starting to crumble...
With two "maniac" kids eating and drinking in the rear and a wife who couldn't care less about the "family car", our Cayenne Turbo S may be technically OK but it "feels" like a 10 year old car.
The whole idea was actually to "get rid" of our current CTTS and the 997 Turbo lease to lower overall cost (I hardly get to drive my 997 Turbo and the lease is 1700 EUR per month), not necessarily to get something new.
Well...it seems I have to wait another two years until the 997 Turbo lease runs out...unless of course I fall in love with the X5/X6M or whatever.

SciFrog, ...very nice... nothing else to add...
RC,.. I wouldn't rush into the new X5M/X6M. I would carefully check/test driven new body CayenneTT first, then X6M second... Only then I would make intelligent selection. There are very many things, that experienced driver will notice during a new car test drive. These things won't be published in detail in best-professional car magazine press releases...
But of course, price is a price...
