Gilmour,
Congrats on your order.
I for myself ordered a S PDK 4 weeks ago with the following options:
Cayman S PDK AltasGrey/Cocoa
19 inch Carrera S II wheels
Heated Sport seats
Bi Xenon
PASM
Sport Chrono Plus (a must in combination with PDK)
Park Assist
PCM
Bose Sound System
IPOD Support
Full Airco
Tire Pressure Monitor
and some minor decorative options (colored wheel caps, etc..)
I certainly would go for PASM and IPOD support in your case. You probably won't need the heated seats in Dubai
Gdvw05:Congratulations - and well done for ordering TPMS, Gdvw05 - hardly anybody seems to spec this and it is one of the most worthwhile options to have. To constantly see the tyre pressures in the display is very reassuring and can avert expensive tyre damage at the very least and a disaster at th very worst.

BangoO:It's still a Porsche, so all of them! You can't have the short shifter with PDK
If I were you, I would not forget the short-shifter, PASM, and the full leather interior... (but I don't know which of those is an option on the FL)
BangoO:
Ah right of course, I did not think about PDK
I agree with you about PASM and full leather though! Trouble is, when I play with the configurator and put all my nice to haves which I'd miss, the final cost looks more like a telephone number I like the interior package painted, door handle trim painted, aluminium / leather PDK lever and handbrake, rear section of centre console in exterior colour, Bose sound, (all nice to haves) TPMS, Bi-Xenon + dynamic lights, PCM, full leather, autodim mirrors, LSD, Sport chrono package plus, heated seats, all must haves.....
dr.j:Have I missed something? Is the change to paddles definite now? If so, well worth waiting for.
Wouldn't an order now be June or July delivery? MY10 would be coming out a month or two after you'd get it. I'd order in June and get a MY10, with paddles, and save a year in depreciation for just a few month delay.
dr.j:
DC, you are correct, no official announcement yet. I'm just going by the info from the 997 paddle discussion here at Rennteam and a conversation I had with my dealer who said it's very likely we will see paddles as a MY10 option, rather than replacement, of the buttons.
"Option" rather than "replacement", eh? Well it wouldn't be like Porsche to admit they'd got it wrong when for a price customers can opt to put the mistake right!
