CloseFirst mildly warm and sunny day this year, so took the Boxey into work this morning. At the other end of the Portsmouth Navy Base where I work is the Heritage Dockyard, open to the public. Most famous exhibit there is HMS "Victory" http://www.hms-victory.com/
The world's oldest commisioned warship, famous as Admiral Horatio Nelson's flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar fought on 21st October 1805 at Cape Trafalgar off the Spanish mainland, between the French and Spanish Navies and the Royal Navy.
Thie piles mark the entrance to the Beaulieu River, the only privately owned river in the country, (shared by the Montague Estate - famous for the National Motor Museum - (owns the West bank) and Lord Rothschild's Exbury Estate that owns the East bank).
Glad you've had a grand day out DC. I wish I didn't have deadlines for Monday, otherwise I'd have been out washing the car, which is filthy, and certainly not photo-worthy! No roof-down driving for me, as I still have the hard-top on. Need to think about where I'm going to store it if the sun keeps coming out like this!

Well, actually I was working this morning 
just drove out of the dockyard via the "Victory" and drove home the scenic route. This is the reality of my job in the dockyard in the winter - refits of cross Solent car ferries - this is Wightlink's flagship "St Clare" - last refit of the season, thankfully!

I somehow missed your 123d pic before, that might have been the blue Eunice really liked, nice!
Another photo of the 123d, colour is Le Mans Blue metallic. Cracking car, 148mph, 0-60 in 6.9 secs, 204 bhp - and 50+mpg! CO2 emissions also amazingly low at 138 g/km which here at least means cheap road tax (£120) The Boxster, at 252 g/km, is £400! In my opinion BMW could teach Porsche a great deal about how to design comfortable sport seats!
Amazing combination of performance and mpg, 50 is sweet! If BMW would sell these here in the states I bet they'd do very well.
I hear you on the P-car sport seats, I'm just average size, 6'1", 42" jacket, but was surprised sport seats were a little uncomfortable for me, went for the standard non-power seats in full leather all the way!

Well, had our top down drive to Burgess Hill, West Sussex from our home in the New Forest. We drive north up to Winchester on the M3 then head east on the A272, one of our favourite local roads..
