    987 Sport Design Package Pics

    Just saw that these had been posted by Loren on Renntech and I'd not seen them before.
    Like the front and rear bumpers but not sure about the spoiler (looks like Porsche have raided the Cayman parts bin)

    Code is XAL, price is high(almost like Aerokit for 997)...
    It's something like a small Aerokit for Boxster...

    Looks awful, particularly the back 'fake' venturis.

    A money spinning marketing scam that will only make your wallet lighter, and your car slower (more drag).

    Don't like that, not at all as good as the 997 kit or the 986 kit

    Looks like crap.

    However, I want those Carrera Sport wheels so bad, it makes my pee-pee hurt. Dealer wants like five grand with tires. Argh!!!

    What color is that though? I haven't seen it before. Interesting.

    Thanks for the pics, it's always nice to see what's available. It's not for me either, I think the standard 987S design is close to perfection. Sometimes less is more.

    Actually, I kinda like the front spoiler "lips". I also like the side skirts, but agree the rear valance is a bit "Rice".

    Don't like the looks of the kit + rims.....

    Afraid I'll have to pass on this one, Yikes! I would consider the "Cayman-style" rear wing, however. Maybe it will be sold separately?

    I'd consider the rear Cayman-like spoiler...but the rest of it is nasty.

    Thanx for sharing the pics - not my kind of taste (though might help Ente's colleague to better distinguish the front from the back ). The colour looks very nice (any news about new interior/exterior colours for MY 07 ?)

    I actually think it looks pretty cool, but it might just be the (very beautiful) Carrera Sport wheels that does it.
    Yes the venturis are a bit much, but I like the rear spoiler better than the original. And the front end isn't really that much different.

    But guessing what Porsche will probably charge for this package, I would never get one...

    Color looks like seal/sand (my combo ) or seal/natural brown. It looks too light for slate grey, too dark for GT silver.

    techart is the best kit till now.
