Very nice new wheels.

The rest of the car ain't half bad either
True.
I fell in love with the GranTurismo last year, when I drove a GTS for one day. Definitely at the top of the list when it comes to "affordable" GT-cars. The Sport-button is a stunner and I have to admit, I never sat in a better built Italian car before.
Back again!
And sound-wise there aren't many cars that can match it, especially in sport mode
If I had a car like this, I would drive through a tunnel at least once a day
10 PRINT "Increase engine by 200 ccm"
20 PRINT "Increase hp by 20"
30 PRINT "Change lights and mirrors"
40 GOTO 10, every 3-4 years
50 RUN
That car looks live, like nothing else on the road!
Especially in black... those sinister low headlights... and the sound!
DAMN!
So wait 4.2 was regualr version, 4.7 was GrandSport and both came with F1 gearbox until now... or?

Rossi, you selfish b**tard! Where's the pics and proper review??
I LOVE the new wheels, I was asking thinking of either that or the V12 Vantage before I officially put down a deposit. I guess I'll wait until I get to test drive the new GTS 4.7!

Sorry Mike, you're right of course.
Had no time for a proper review at that time and forgot about it in the meantime. Just some impressions:
GranTurismo GTS is really a fantasitc car.Best thing is the Sport Button: if it's not pushed, you can cruise around with the car without even being noticed by other people (if they don't recognise the beautiful design), but if it's pushed, hell breaks loose. I mean really, the sound of that car is something out of this world, but - and that's a huge advantage, especially at such a car than can be driven daily - only if you really want it! Great, simply great, IMO every modern sports car should have something like this and I really hope Ferrari takes notice. Inside the car you feel like in any top class GT-car, build quality is immaculate, never experienced somthing like this in an ITALIAN car before. Hopefully Ferrari will learn its lesson there as well.
I made pics as well, here are some: GranTurismo GTS in black, bellissimo...

Beautiful pics, thank you Rossi
But you can tell that it's an Italian car that probably hasn't spent much time winter testing in northern Sweden, that front licenceplate would last about 10 minutes on a Scandinavian road after a heavy snowfall
10 PRINT "Increase engine by 200 ccm"

temm:temm, I think that's a major problem of today's Italian sportscars, no matter if it's a GranTurismo, a 599, or whatever. Their designers don't care about where to put the front licence plate. Not in every country you are lucky enough to use the small ones like in Italy (sic!) or Switzerland or are even allowed to use no licence plate at the front at all like in some American states.

But hey, it's only a California, so size and position of the licence plate is not the biggest problem here.
Back again!
KresoF1:Wow I didn't even know that a facelift was even out - can't hurt to treat myself for a testdrive. Thanks for the pointer Kreso!

Absolutely amazing car....definitely my favourite GT ever! ...So gorgeous. Never drove one, but heard one and the sound is just soooooooo good. One of the best soundtracks available today IMO.
BTW any of you see this??? MC Line....Carbon stuff and stiffened suspension... Looks good to me...
Not sure about the spoiler though....
