Seems to be a very innovative car.
Looks great for me. Front is nice, rear with the rear light desin very nice. Interior is very much like the X5, just the colors are new.
The two way opening mechanism of the rear door would be something I would have loved to see on the Panamera.
One more thing - did you notice the way the front mirrors are mounted?
I have a bit problems with the side view of the rear.
Tonight at 18:00 Germany time official pictures should be available!

More informations:
It seems that BMW are under attack in their traditionally strong segments by lots of other manufacturers and they come up with these eccentricities a la X6 and now this funnycar, to create what they think are new niches in order to defend their sales.
They are trying to reinvent the wheel because IMO these designs have nothing to offer.

......
The rear door 2 way opening is very innovative and interesting indeed.

Happy Driving
I think that point goes to Skoda!
Anyway, I dont see the sence of this car. This roofline/sideline looks quite interesting on the X6 and suits it quite well, and I see no reason why anyone should choose the IMO ugly PAS over a X6.
But as said before, I think we are going to see a great new 5 Series, and the M5 is going to be a hell of a car with a good design, DKG and an adjustable supspension. I think the engine has never been a problem for the M5 so far.
Thanks Shakal for the other pictures!
The rear seat entertainment is much better integrated as in the Panamera!
Still - seeing those other pictures I have to say... its a bit awkward, too. Must see the car in real and see how tall it is.
I'm dissapointed that this big trunk doesnt have 100% flat flodable seats!

Carlos from Spain:
why do they make them so huge now a days....

If you mean kidneys... they must be almost vertical due to new EU safety rules . Small vertical kidneys wouldn't look well, thats reason why BMW is introducing those "XXL" kidneys...
Lars: You posted first photos, so thanks goes to you
I don't like this 5 GT. Don't forget this concept has 25" rims and very special colour. With normal 18" rims it will look even worse. But we have nice preview how new 5 series will look - front will be very similar to this 5 GT. A said a few days ago that next BMW (PAS) will be disappointment, but I have very high hopes for new 5 series.

I was refering to its legth... 5m! 460-470 would of been better IMO.
Like you say, it's front looks good and if the 5-series gets this front thats a good start for the next 5-series

You're right, cars are getting too big. Current 5 series got perfect dimensions... with 7 series is already very hard to navigate in city or find parking slot in city...
New 5 series... imagine similar front to 5 GT and rear of this photoshop (is very accurate):
