Considering its size and drivetrain (the PDK is inherently heavy and all-wheel-drive also adds at least 50 kg), this isn´t too bad. An RS6 weighs 150 kg more.

Thats heavier than the Mercedes CLS (a brand not precisely known for its weight savings), if we are talking about unladen CE weights which I pressume, according to manufacturer, the CLS63AMG is 1910kg, while the V6 Panaera can be compared to the 292HP CLS 350CGI which is 1735Kg, and this with a heavy 7-gear torque converter tranny, not manual like the Pan V6.

Re: Panamera - Not a good start

    I like the interior.

    Three comments:

    1. - the cupholder looks really funny. Why to put it there. Instead they could have removed the gear shift and made it more to the front

    2. - the middle tunnel is to high for my taste

    3. - check the picture - it seems that this gauge is digital!

    118078.jpg

and ..... why to put black carpets in a creme colored interior? Does this make it bi-colored???

BTW, it is 700Nm for Turbo. BUT, IMO 4.2s is not possible for 2T car with 500ps/700Nm-PDK or not.

...and Price is as high as RC correctly pointed out. With nice option Panamera Turbo is at 155K € level in Germany(with Mwst.).

4.2 for the Turbo would be extreemly fast . Lets see what the next numbers will say .

Since when are 4WD versions (0.4 seconds) faster than their RWD counterparts?

That is exactly what I mean. A PanameraS is would easily go up to 125 k€. For this I can get a decent 7series and a 1series on top!

Yupp - I seen that to. There must be something wrong with it. 0.4 seconds is a lot!

Re: Panamera - Not a good start

Wohoo 0-100km/is blistering fast for a car that size, and remember that Porsche are often a tiny bit conservative with their figures so it wouldn't surprise me if some magazines will be able to clock 4.1 seconds. Now where is the order guide since I suspect that the cars will come pretty loaded at those prices, though the dummy buttons will leave room for upgrading.

Re: Panamera - Official Pictures & Specs

With sports chrono package the car perform the following

    Panamera S: 0-100km/h 5.2sec
    Panamera 4S: 0-100km/h 4.8sec
    Panamera Turbo: 0-100km/h 4.0sec
