Winter Tyre sizes for 997 Carrera 4
I have been searching around for the answer but different opinions even from the P service people.
I am in a dillema for a decision to go for the Winter Tires for my '08 997 Carrera 4. The Manual itself says 235/40/18 for the fronts and 295/35/18 for the rear. For a better grip on the snow with a narrower wheelbase I am considering to go for 265/40/18 for the rears. Does anybody have any idea if this makes sense, also if it would effect the grip of the car as a whole on normal surfaces as well as the aesthetics because of the wider rear panel that I don't know how it will look like.
Oh and by the way, I am looking for Michelin Pilot Alpin PA2, which I believe is approved by Porsche as the best choice.
Prompt answers would be appreciated due to the shortness of time till we have the first snow and below-seven degrees in here.
