I saw a new black 750i this morning as I was walking into work. It had German plates with a 'M' prefix so I assume it was from Munich.

Lars997:If someone is interested in a short review with pictures: we have a brandnew 7 series at our disposal.
I have seen couple of New Sevens now. Have to say I love this car. Looks stunning and same time luxurious and sporty. The back is very very good, something new and harmonic.
I'm confident that this car makes his way!
They have a black 730d with 20" wheels parked outside the Beemer dealer next to work and I have to say that it's a very nice car.
Much better looking in real life and MUCH better than the previous version.
Anyone know if it will be available with the (rumoured) uprated 35d engine, which I guess will pump out about 300hp/600nm?
Here's a very nice picture with OEM 21" wheels

I also like the looks of the new 7 series. The interior is back to traditional BMW standards. I am really glad that the former Bangle style is dead now...
BTW, V12 will be available in fall 2009, and even more interesting: Alpina will launch the new B7 (ca. 550hp, potentially with AWD option) at Geneva next spring
RC:Bmw 7 series is really a very high-tech car! I like so much too!
CR is driving the new 7series for some time now(no, don't even bother to ask... ), so maybe he can give an input on his experience.
Yesterday, he visited me with the 7series(Diesel) and I kind of have to admit that I was pretty impressed with the gadgetry inside the car, including night vision system and the pretty well working speed limit sign reading system. Impressive.
