In the afternoon we enjoyed an open pitlane - hence racecars and streetcars together on the track 
It's unbelievable when U. Alzen flies by in his beast - I thought I was in reverse 
Also impressive what the Radicals can do in the corners 
While Mr. Alzen clocked laptimes in the low 2:3X, I was happy to achieve a 3:10 at best (lacking some horses, the right rubber.......and some driving skills) 
In the last pic you can see how I'm chasing the mighty Alzen-Porsche on the Kemmel straight

Achim, really impressive pictures! Those tyres... :O Always find it inconvenient to see the rubber actually melts. Modern technology at it's best, keeping you on the track.
Thanks for the pictures, really make me remember that weekend when I was at Spa for the Porsche days a couple of years ago!

@ Joost: Yes, those street tires easily melt at a GP track - but like mentioned before I can't complain - they survived for a full season :)

I found out that on dry tracks, Sport Cups are more appropriate, obviously in terms of grip, but also in terms of wear. Michelin Sport, when getting hot, just melt more than cups but the rubber blocks tend to bend, especially when recent, as they're thicker thus suffer more.
Moreover, as I guess you don't have a trailer to bring your car on track, Cups do hold correctly on the wet, as far as they're new and as you're watching the road to avoid puddles.
