My Close Call last night!
Driving home last night from golf, a 15cm diameter tree branch fell on to my car! i was in traffic at the time, and only doing about 20km/h! As you can see in the pics, it hit the structual part around the windscreen in my MX5 (called miata in the USA).
If I had of been a fraction earlier (about 0.05seconds if my math is correct), it would have hit the soft top, and hit directly on my head!
I feel very lucky to be alive! Not sure if it is repairable (I think this part of the car is structual, and may be impossible to fix?? Your thoughts would be welcomed??).
At least it wasn't a total waste of a day, i drove two par fours....all the way onto the green (310meters).
