Got to get rid of those Ricer Foglights....otherwise it's nice looking!

On the Porsche board, some nice fella PS'ed the foglamps out...much, much better.

Quick question: why do we need this if Panamera is coming? A GT car above the 911? We saw how well that fared with the original 928. Anyone else think these are just Photoshop fantasies to sell magazines?

Unless of course the 911 were to evolve into a GT car so that Porsche could start shoehorning 3.8 liter engines into Caymans...

Or maybe Panamera will evolve into something different, ie a GT coupe. In any case, my understanding is that Porsche's board gave the approval for Panamera and it's a matter of when, not if.

It's something nice to dream about at least. The 928 was a great car and the first Porsche I really fell in love with.

I hope that gossip about the 997 GT1 turns out to be true.

I'm pretty sure, the panamera will be a four door. The successor to the 928 looks great. Very sleek and sexy.

No, facelift implies minor exterior tweaks to freshen up the look. 998 would be a different car altogether. Or should be.

In the past the GT1 was faster and more expensive than the GT2. And according to Road and Track had a $1,000,000 price tag on it. That would be pretty neat if Porsche did bring it back.

never heared about a 997 facelift, as the 997 is almost a facelift of the 996 already. Time for a new 911 is overdue since a time. For me the 997 havent brought that innovations I would like to have seen.

Dont understand me wrong, the 997 is a great car, but I'm struggling with missing innovations and new design.

The 997 is more than a facelift of the 996's Lars...
Not one body part is carried over between the 2, although
there is some speculation about the roof.

997's are kinda supposed to look like facelifts of the 993 range.

What innovations are you refering to??
