    No Bose High End Sound Package?

    I just noticed on the order guide that the 997TT does not have the optional Bose High End Sound Package with 13 speakers available but rather it looks like it comes standard with 9 speakers and the Bose DSP. Anyone know anything about that.

    This is not the case. If you run the Masterwerk program on Porsche's home page, then click on Masterwerk > Act 3 and click on the "comfort" button located on the seat you will read the following:

    The BOSE Surround Sound system which comes as standard offers the ultimate hi fi experiece. And the acoustics inside the new 911 Turbo are equally impressive. Which means it only made sense to combine the two in a joint development process. In the 911 Turbo the BOSE Surround Sound system has a total power output of 325W. Thirteen loudspeakers, including active subwoofer and Centerfill, provide the perfect soundtrack to the Turbo driving experience. The BOSE Surround Sound can be activated at the touch of a button - for high fidelity, three dimensional all around sound experience.

    Strange that the order sheet says there's 9 loudspeakers in addition to the Bose DSP system.

    I wonder when Porsche will ditch bose ( ) & go with an actual "high end" audio setup

    Full(or high end ) Bose is standard on 997 Turbo! At least here in Europe... And you are reading unofficial/old dealers guide. In Official Porsche Euro price list there is clearly note that full Bose is standard...
