    New 997 C4S

    Lucked in today and purchased the following cancelled order:

    Porsche 997 C4S manual
    Basalt Black with Black leather
    Heated front seats with crested head rests
    19" 'Sport Design' wheels with colour crested centres and 5mm spacers
    Cruise control
    Rear parking sensors
    Navigation and phone modules for PCM
    Bose sound
    Sports exhaust
    Multi-function steering wheel

    Car will be built by 3 Mar and I should take delivery a few weeks later. So much for the need to wait 8 months!!

    Nice! Same thing happened to me with my purchase, had the specs I wanted, so I put the deposit down.. my wait was only about a month. Please post some pics when you take delivery, she's gonna be beautiful!

    Del - is it too late to add adaptive sports seats and maybe sunroof & rear wiper?

    You've got a great spec already but why not make it perfect.

    Just my opinion of course - congratulations.

    Too late to change the specification. Having had electric seats in the 987S, I found them annoying and slow to operate; therefore, I'm content with the standard seats. I would have liked to add the sunroof and change the wheels to Carrera Sport - but it's not to be. I can see advantage to the rear wiper - but find it a bit unsightly; a good coating of Rain-X on the rear screen will do just as well!

    Good for you. I collect mine at noon Monday. I would let you have my sunroof if I could, I couldn't delete it here in the states.
