How does the 997tt sport chrono work? when sport is on does it mean that everytime you fully step on the gas you instantly get the extra boost? Or every stop and go? and if you always drive with sport chrono on will the extra boost take its where and tear on the motor, how often did Porsche say to use the extra boost?
If it's on Sport, the extra boost is there from 2,100 to 4,000 rpm only and never for more than 10 seconds straight. You don't need to press the button again - it automatically resets to overboost when you press your foot to the floor.
You can use it as much as you like. The car is designed to use it every time. Sure, you might wear out the motor faster than if you drive like a grandma, but then why buy the car?
