    Dealer accepted deposit on launch car - July delivery

    my configuration is:

    triple black
    adaptive seats
    sport chrono plus
    axle-differential lock rear
    heated front seats
    sport shifter
    thicker steering wheel
    mats
    crest in headrest
    heated seats
    foot rest Aluminum

    Anyone want to hazard a guess on price - no price info available from dealer.

    And, btw, this will be a manual car. Yippee - July can't come fast enough!!!

    Alan,

    You can use the published base price ($122,900) and use the existing prices for the 997 series to get a pretty dead-on price. You'll have to guess about the axle lock, and the sport chrono will probably be more than others.

    You can price out the options Here and add it to the base.



    Why not go to the Porsche website and run the configurartor for the C4S. This will give you option codes and pricing except for the differential lock.

    My ordered launch car is equipped just how I wanted it, however, the dealer was unaware of the offered diff. lock. I would appreciate input regarding what others think about me taking the car without diff. lock. I hear that the new AWD is suppose to be great. What do u think?

    PDC
    As well as, what I am told is standard: full leather, power seats, auto dimming mirrors and Bose high end stereo. Manual of course.

    Don't forget, as always...you owe us pictures.

    Here's my car:

    Black paint.
    Black interior.
    Thicker steering wheel.
    Tiptronic.
    Sport Chrono Turbo Package.
    PCCB.
    Crest in Headrest.
    Sport Seats or Adaptive Seats.
    If possible: yellow stitching and black painted wheel crests.

    I'm still not sure if this combo will be possible, it depends on the german launch cars and availability.

    Speced out 997tt Jan. 25th. One of 1st 25 for USA. July delivery. Gave down payment. On list for 2 years. Base price $129900 US. Extra cost options: PCCB,heated seats,Chrono,mats, slate grey,stone grey interior. Seal grey N/A. Chose manual. They told me tip was faster. I like to shift.

    RC, I know you would probably go for a sports exhaust if offered, but what kind of timing do you anticipate on the rumored system you mentioned in an earlier thread?

    I heard something about early 2007 but nothing for sure.

    RC - This takes me back a few years

    Remember when we were waiting for our '01 996tt's? You got your's first, of course, and all I could do was hang on until mine finally showed up. And then I got the nasty surprise - bumper warts on the US cars - yuch. Hope there are no nasty surprises on this launch car!

    And our kids were much younger, then.
