The look of GT3 is better, but I can't look past the ungodly power & daily driveability of the TT, so TT's mechanicals trump it's own lackluster styling cues.
Gut feeling on aesthetics IMO on scale 1-100 (from pics, of course): the GT3 is about a 95, Turbo=70, regular C2/C4 = 95

Hi everyone,,
I know its early but I do feel the 997TT looks artificial compared to the raw ready and up for it 997GT3.
In the flesh will of course tell the true story but what do you guys think as of now ??..
Tick your early preference..

Senseless poll? I doubt that we're talking about the same type of customer here. The 997 Turbo is a hightech street driving machine with incredible traction capabilities. The 997 GT3 is more of a race car for public streets, allowing weekend track racers to have fun on the track and drive in it to work too during the week.
In my opinion, the 997 Turbo and GT3 are two different beasts for different types of customers.

RC I do know what you are implying , but for me any 997 would be a weekend fun tool hence my 2nd post above , so for this reason I think why not just go for the hardcore one , obviously still have a good demo's to make the correct choice . Also I bet only a small % of GT3 owners track their car , so imo its a lifestyle pending decision as well as an enthusiast one..

Any chance they will offer the interior of the GT3 on the TT as an option!?

Are you joking? You must be joking. If you're talking about the seats only, yes, they're rumored to be available for the 997 TT sooner or later. Getting the soft leather steering wheel shouldn't be a problem either.
Otherwise, I'm not quite sure what you want from the GT3 interior...because the 997 TT interior is practically the same.

Don't you think that for the RS they won't concentrate on power but on reducing weight? For track work weight is the enemy! If you take out all the trim unecessary for track work and all the convenience features, add carbon hood, thin glass/plastic windows, Ceramic brakes and so-on they should be able to get to 1275 kg range? Perhaps a bit shorter gearing, conventional springs/shocks and you have a track rocket? What do you think- more '73RS approach and back to basics?
