    599GTB Fiorano (New Pics)

    Apparentely it's called Fiorano.
    Thanks to Manu for the pictures.
    The STAR wheels are 19inch in the front and 20 on the rear. All other types are 20 inch.
    The suspensions are completely new and they function with mercurium chainging in short instants from hard to soft

    i like it, although not in one of those colors. and those small red lights at the diffusor look silly.

    Agreed, love the rear's angular lines. The combination of angular lines and stacked rearlights is what makes the Enzo's rear so sexy, and their absence on the F430 is what makes its rear wrong (or not as successfully executed as on the Enzo, to put it mildly).
    Ferrari has realized that Lamborghini's modern, angular lines are the way to go. I can already see the rear design direction for the F430's replacement (Ferrari's next all-new model)...
    The front and its front wings now pronounce 'Porsche' more than ever, however. I hope their future models will have more unique front design, and take more cues from the Enzo or at least the 360/575 and not 612/this 599..

    Just my two cents.

    Rear end is amazing!! The front is still questionable. But definitly growing on me.

    Thank you very much for the great pictures. The design is nothing but pure class, and agreed that it's the best front engined sports car ever.

    just cant like the nose, the rear i can live with, the side is sort of nice, i like the upward raked vents a bit...

    Very nice pictures. Don't like the silver though, as I don't like silver very much at all. Red is just too red for that kind of car IMHO, but the dark red and the grigio silverstone from the pic at the factory look absolutely stunning.

    I like it! even the front is starting to grow on me. The side view is lovely.

    I really dislike the five-spoke-star rims though, coincidentally both placed inverted in the silver car in the expo.

    That aside, they have done a great job in the design department IMO. Very beautiful and sporty.

    Would love to see that car in metallic white.

    I think the Cadilac nex sports cupe, XLR or something has it. I am not sure, I ve read that it has to do with a material that can be magneticly manipulated to change stiffness, it was pionired by GM if I am not mastaken and I probably am.

    I believe this will probably have a magneto-rheological fluid in the dampers. The damper fluid's viscosity is altered, very quickly, by subjecting it to a variable magnetic field and in turn this will alter the effective stiffness of the shocks.

    I think all recent Ferraris have some sort of variable damper control, this new one just reacts much faster.

    Corvette and Cadillac XLR have this already.
