Called the dealer to find out if my door sills had arrived yet....No they hadn't, but he had a very good excuse, & they were definately illuminated!!!
OOOPS!!! A new set are on the way, as these have a carbon look to them
...FYI it took 4 hours to put the fire out (thankfully no serious injuries)

Probably because of the logistical headaches it would cause to integrate them into a "just-in-time" production system.

hi everyone, i remember myself posting this info on illuminated sills along with aluminium look and carbon sills
one year ago!!!
where many people thought of it a a poser feature!!!!!!!!
well i kind of liked them, i also have seen quite few pics with individual names on it....
like "beast"" etc...
also if you remember in the exclusive porsche book 2006, and 2006 there is a cayenne turbo with illuminated door sills
mentioning "400HP" and i ve seen some more also...
what i dont remember is if the illuminated door sills come also in carbon and aluminium BUT illuminated at the same time!
