I was quickly in Stuttgart city today. I did see 3 almost not camouflaged cars in the flesh. One blue, red and white car. It looks very good from the rear. Front the side and front - I almost didn't recognize that it is the 992. Actually the camouflage was giving me the hint, otherwise, I would not have recognized that car.

not recognized in that it looked so similar to a 991?

Thanks! ..It looks like the 997 was a bigger change externally from the 996, than the 992 from the 991. But the interior seems like its the opposite.

I'm not sure they will feel they have to move the level up very far. I was surprised to see that the 911 was Europe's best selling sports car in 2018 to the end of June with 12,734 examples sold. The Mazda MX5 was a distant 2nd place with 8,545 sold. It is incredible to think the 911 outsells the little Mazda by a ratio of 3:2 considering the price differential.

Look at the old videos where he declares PDK for grannies, then in the next GT3 introduces PDK as the best thing since sliced bread and removes manual, then in the next model reintroduces manual. AP is a marketing tool.

This is very correct. AP is an undercover salesman. More Porsche buyers would be influenced by an engineer than by a straightforward salesperson.

I don't consider this as something bad, however. Whatever the business all is about generating more sales and adding value to the equity.

It's certainly a nice interior, just not sure it's a nice 911 interior. Hopefully GT3 is a little more spartan, but I guess that's not what a lot of customers want now a days.
