    If you look closely enough you will notice the blue hue that you are referring to. Of course it is not as pronounced as the Carbon black of BMW, but it is still there.....

    Basalt in Stuttgart with 6500 miles of dirt/flies etc from UK in a day. Still looks clean (ish)!
