    Speedart Twin Turbo Racer Anyone???

    Just ask yourself: why would Porsche use the more expensive "bulletproof" 964/GT1 derived engine for the 997 Turbo if the M96/M97 engine would be "good" enough for turbo charging?

    We cannot recommend such kits but to each his own like we say here.

    One main reason is money saving for them.

    WHAT money saving? The GT1-derived engine is MUCH more expensive

    What I would love to see is some quad pipes like those coming out the back of my 997tt (when ever it arrives), similar to the f430's. I wonder if the 99ttS will have quads like the 997S versus the base 997. Can any one recomend some nice quad pipe exhaust that sound good and perform well? Do you think you can use the sport exhaust button with aftermarket exhaust?

    Rhino, It must be really hard to change the pipes only. If you take a look at the rear bumper of the turbo, you can see that the pipes are integrated in the bumper. Knowing Porsche, of course they thought of how to put custom pipes on it, but well... I'd like to see how!
