    Schumacher to race Eurofighter

    Schumacher is scheduled to race an Italian Eurofighter in his F-2003-GA on December 11. This should be very exciting. They will race at distances of 500, 1000, and 1500 meters. The results should prove interesting. (The Eurofighter can takeoff in under 700 meters)

    I wanted to attend because it would really be interesting but I have an important business appointment on that day.
    I put my bet on Schumacher.

    And fun. The pilot of the Eurofighter is also an italian pilot as far as I heard, it also has something to do with local patriotism and loyalty towards Ferrari. It is a pretty nice event and I wish I could attend.

    The italian pilot is some sort of astronaut for itally, apparently he is famous over there. How would one purchase ticks for an event like this?

    A friend attends the event and he wanted me to come with him. He's in Italy right now til end of january, I try to get him on the phone and find out more.

    "Before the challenge the original 1931 race will be recreated. Schumacher will take the place of Nuvolari at the wheel of the classic Alfa Romeo and will be trying to outrun an antique biplane over the same distance as the first race."

    Schuhmacher won over 600m,
    the jet was quicker over 900m by 0.2 sec and 1200m by 2 sec.
    Unfortunately the track was wet. The Ferrari reached 308 km/h top speed.

    I think that if the rain haddnt been there, then the Ferrari would have done much, much better. Rain is a decisive advantage for the Eurofighter, as that the power in a jet isnt transfered via the wheels. It was exciting to see the results, but I wasnt able to watch the event. If anyone can tell me when ir will re-air, in america, I would be very thankful.
