What I would recommend is for you to go to your dealer. He will sign you up. It gets full very quickly.

Trust me, this is the last place you want to go with your family. Rovaniemi, Arctic Circle, avg. Temp: -20 Celsius but last week was -40, and absolutely nothing to do if you are not driving
I went with a friend of mine, left both our girlfriends home and had an absolue blast that was worth every penny.

funny right? no winter tires, no spikes, 19" normal width . The only one that had winter tires with spikes was actulally Rauno Altonen, who was a professional rally driver several times champion and was the only one who did not need them . However the last day we did a hot lap with him in the car (he was driving) and man I was so glad he had spikes and knew what he was doing
I have a video of the drive with him. I will try to post later and also include some other videos.

Nothing major, actually one thing I am really in awe is how much abuse these babies can take. Bad mistakes could lead the car to go off-road
in which case we would just use the walkie we had in the car to alert the monitor to stop all other cars in the track and if we could not get the car out, then call the Cayenne. Yes, there were a few Porsche mechanics around the different tracks rescuing people... 
It was interesting when you would see a Cayenne rescuing another Cayenne!!!
it did happened...At the end I also saw a couple of damaged bumpers but that's all. However we were told to watch out for the jumping trees....

Great photos, I was there, with my wife, Jan 8th-12th, and it was only -14 Celius or so.
This is a great program and worth every penny. The hardest part was driving to the hotel and back (potential for jumping trees) through the icy forest roads.
The whole point of the course is to learn to steer the car with the rear wheels through judicious use of the the accelerator and brakes.
I will return next year..there is no better way to spend money!
