    I am with you on this one. I would love to see the 4.0 in the GT4, but I don't see it fit in the price range vs a 911 Carrera and a 911 GT3.

    I can’t see how the GT4 would get the GT3 engine. Too expensive for a regular GT4. 

    The only Cayman I can see a detuned GT3 engine in is the GT4 RS. And I can only see this happenig if there will be no regular GT4.

    One solution would be to kill the GT3 and offer a regular and RS version of the GT4 which both sport the 4.0l engine Smiley Voila! You read on RT first.

    that  car looks ready. Présentation in Geneva exactly like it was the case with the .1 RS and .1 GT4.... that would be in tune with the “ no surprise “ we have been accustomed to from Porsche

    It will be £100k if gets the 4.0L lump. Even if it goes from say 500bhp  400ish how much will it cost to do that? It wont  be enough of a drop to justify it, plus it will actuallt cost Porsche to test it at a different state of tune. I expect the 3.0L turbo lump from the 911 at around 400ish BHP GT3 brakes and suspension ect like before and probably manual only. I cant see it being hugely different to what we haf before just tweeked

    There are lots of 911 models they can put the GT3 engine in: Speedster, RS, other limited special edition 911.

    Rennteam ha been very much on-topic for a while.

    In 15 minutes it time for this wheat bun to enter my body. The bun is called a Semla and today is the big Semla-day in Sweden. 5-6 millions of these gets eaten today.

    I"m not up on current regs but I would have to think that a GT3 engined GT4 would be a better basis for a racecar than the turbo mill. The cayman has been passed by on the series that it is elegible for and I don't think the Clubsport was the hit that they were hoping for.
