I vary betweeen 12 mpg in the city and 25 on the highway at 76 mph, the mpg sweet spot. The 12 is much more common and fun too. Jekyl and Hyde. Just the way I like iit. Btw. Got caught out in the snow at zero degrees with my summer tires. Not a big deal. Only two inches of snow until I got home and checked the rear tires due to sliding a bit much and hydro planing on the highway in a heavy downpour on Monday. I was down to the second layer of cords on the inside of the rear tires. Bald rear tires tend to sneak up on you in a 911. Even after dozens of sets you always imagine they are doing better than they are. The last week or so must just be like a light switch going off. Oh well. You guessed it. I mounted a new set of summer tires this Thursday. We will see if I make it through the season. I actually let my lease for my spare care run out so it is now my daily driver.
Trust me I do check the weather report and have my eye on a set of wheels and snow tires. I do have my limits but like to make certainly I will need them. Here in KC you just never know
Cheers
According to this Dutch article it will be introduced at Geneva:
http://autovisie.nl/2017/01/nieuws/porsche-sport-turismo-maart/
Porsche, separates Le Mans from Le Boys
Wonderbar:Has the Panamera Sport Tourismo been confirmed for the Geneva show? Will Porsche be offering any other new models at the show?
Turbo S Hybrid with confirmed 686HP and Sport Tourismo are both going to be in Geneva.
Base MSRP for Turbo S Executive is$192k in US.
Conny997:From this perspective the Panamera looks more like a Audi S7.
What about the data 0-200kp/h? Didn't they test it?
I think this must be around 12 sec.
There was a test somewhere, I don't remember where and the time was 12.1 seconds from 0-200 kph (different car though but new Panamera Turbo). A bit disappointing in my opinion, the RS6 Performance or even S8 Plus aren't much slower. I am curious about the 0-300 kph performance. Read an article about aerodynamics in the speed range 200 to 300 kph and they compared the RS6 Performance, the RS7 Performance and the S8 Plus for that. In the end, the RS7 Performance was over 6 seconds or so faster than the RS6 Performance and even the S8 Plus was faster than the RS6 Performance. The aerodynamics of the RS6 Performance is much worse, making is so much slower to 300 kph. Power was OK on all three cars, 0-200 kph performance basically the same (S8 Plus was a bit worse).

Wonderbar:Lars, each to his own. The Audi looks like a bottom feeding fish to me. Love the Panamera...
Not a fan of the RS7 Sportback design either...but performance is amazing. Would never get the car though, it is so ugly in the back. The new Panamera looks much better in the flesh than in photos but it is color sensitive (depends what you want, elegant or sporty).

KMM:The issue with the Audi A7 design is that the back droops too much. As with women, a droopy ass is never a good thing
I understand historical background of A7 rear design, but as you said it is not executed very well. BMW 6 Gran Coupe looks great, so as new Panamera.

When the A7 was launched I thought how ugly. But today after seeing it a while, after the Facelift got some nice updates, I really think it is sexy. It takes a while.
That hanging rear makes it so special and the car looks wide and low compared to its competitor.

Has anyone seen the TV advertisement Porsche is running at least in the US, which highlights InnoDrive? Any thoughts?

And it looks like there a German version as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fYDcJRzpt-w

Looks like the next logical step in automated driving after the introduction of PDK!
