The sports classic is the owner' s daily driver . He 's got 2 R ( the Gulfblue and a GT Silver ) , he's got also a 918 , a Carrera GT ( you can see them on my post under the tread title ' a very special collection ' , the he's got a 964 Turbo S , a RS 73 , a 997 Gt2 RS , and a few more ......

Whoopsy:That's my friend's car, think it's the only one with Sports Classic Grey
I wouldn't have expected it to look so good...

Whoopsy:Cause that colour is so ugly in person that it worked
I believe there should be a fashion grey one floating around too............
I saw on Instragram that he has specced it to compliment his Singer commission .
Just found out that one of the local Colorado dealers currently has 5 911R on the showroom floor (a couple in PTS) and has sold 7 of them in total! This is not one of the bigger dealers either (smaller city, not Denver). Wonder how they managed this (paid other dealers a premium to acquire them)???

Gnil:Is he selling those or are they just for show ?
I'm really not sure. If I was an owner, I wouldn't leave it there though...

Carlos from Spain:Sorry to say but both of those are awful colors, wow but if he likes it then...
oh yes - this car looks really FUgly
btw... I still don't get the hype around this car. Pre-Facelift Bumper look, no bold wheel arches in front, Manual shift .... ts ts ts
I don't get the hype either, but I was just confirmed Euro delivery for my R Feb 23rd at Leipzig.
It was suppose to ARRIVE at my dealership Feb 24th. I intercept it just in time to redirect it back to Germany. Well not quite, it is currently at the Exclusive workshop haha.
Anyway, timing works out perfectly, as I was planning to do a road tour around Italy for the Ferrari Lamborghini and Pagani factories around that time too before flying off to Finland. So now I got a car to drive there

Congratulations! That is going to be one hell of a trip. Are you going for the Huyara Roadster?
Whoopsy:Well it will be quite epic I think, at least the part that it might be the only R with winter tires on haha
We will see about the Pagani.
Not the only one. But nearly ! My neighbor , who owns two R , has fitted winter tires on the one he drives ....

Gnil:Here is a PTS R that has just arrived at my dealer . It goes to someone who has already an R in GT Silver . He wanted another one in PTS and confort seats with the R lining . Some people manage to get what they want
There was another R , that I am not allowed to photographe for the moment . The only thing I can say, is that it has different color rims on each side ( one side blue and side one red ) + other things and that it comes like that from the factory When allowed I will post photos .
That's a stunning R, I for one love that color

Furthermore, in some regions winter tires are mandatory when there are even only a bit of winterly driving conditions and in South Tyrol (Italy...north...), winter tires are mandatory, no matter if it snows or not.

Horacio Pagani Gets Himself A New Porsche 911 R
Horacio Pagani, the founder of Pagani Automobili, might be at the helm of creating some of the most exquisite automobiles on the planet, but he’s a sucker for all things Porsche. Mr. Pagani is known to be quite the Porsche enthusiast, with his private collection including the likes of the iconic Carrera GT and the thoroughbred Cayman GT4.Since no Porsche collection is complete without the new 911 R, Mr. Pagani just got himself one. Tastefully done up in white with red stripes while featuring black and brown interiors, Mr. Pagani’s 911 R looks brochure perfect.
I believe this is true but it made me think. Maybe Mr Pagani just visited a dealer that happened to have a 911R.
Mr Pagani finds it funny that the stripes are just decals.
Some dude with an iPhone takes a couple of pictures.
Another dude find these pictures and writes up a story about it.
Internet replicates story and soon it is true.
BjoernB:he has even a 918
Actually, Pagani Automobili...the company, has one.
The advantage of being a small car manufacturer, you can basically buy any car because it is fully tax deductible through the company since the company needs it for comparison and development reasons.

Technically it won't be written off in the end because it will most likely be sold for more than it cost to buy.
