    C55 AMG pics....

    seems like no one has posted these yet. They look like photoshops????? At least the wheels...

    Not bad but a little bit outdated (the C-class generally).

    Looks photoshopped to me. I think I've seen that picture from back in 2001. Is the C55 not getting quad pipes?

    Looks photoshopped to me. I think I've seen that picture from back in 2001. Is the C55 not getting quad pipes?

    Thats what made me think that the above pic was a photoshop.

    Yes, these pics are chopped, but it's (except for the quad-pipes) absolutely identical to the real, final car. I saw one just 2 days ago.

    It has a BEAUTIFUL SOUND!!! (even better than the SL55 or E55!!!!).

    Since when do ANY AMG Supercharged cars whine under full throttle?

    The only car to whine is the SLR and thats due to less backpressure exhausts, but it does sound bloody good though!

    Since when do ANY AMG Supercharged cars whine under full throttle?

    The only car to whine is the SLR and thats due to less backpressure exhausts, but it does sound bloody good though!

    I am sure AMG will have quad exhaust as an accesory option for the C55?

    Of course. This is the same story as with the CLK55. They offer a quad exhaust (SL55/E55 style) as a retrofit option. Not cheap though.

    It really wouldn't matter much to those of us considering a C55 here in the states, I doubt there is any way anyone here could get the quad exhaust sys. if they wanted it, except to buy it off ebay?

    Except for only one car, EVERY prototype of this car had quad exhausts, also the undisguised one I saw last week. So I'm nearly sure that it will have quad exhausts. If I remember correctly these were photoshops, that "auto, motor und sport" published already nearly one year ago.

    @AMGEater: I'm not sure if it's only the missing supercharger that makes this beautiful sound. THe C55 even sounds better than the SLK55 and they have the same engines, don't they?

    Maybe an extra option? Or the press pics aren't showing everything? (which I actually can't believe ).
    First pictures should be available soon, so we know for sure.
