New E55 AMG Station Wagon (Picture!)

We just returned from Affalterbach, here's one first introduction picture.

E55 Station Wagon (Kombi).
The lettering on the rear still says "Erprobungsfahrzeug", which means "test car".
More pictures from Affalterbach to follow, stay tuned.

I like it

If I get a E55, I will get the E55T.

Will the E55T come to the US? I assume it will this time, since Audi's RS6 have the estate version in the state. Merecedes have to compete with the RS6 station wagon.

This is by far the best looking stationwagon at the moment. I would get the the wagon over the limo, it just looks perfect, congrats AMG.

As far as I heard, the E55 SW will make it to the US.

I also have other good news for you, William: I can arrange for you any available AMG mod at AMG directly for your US car but you have to bring your car to Germany.

BTW: if you ever meet a black E55 with 55 in it's license plate and you see four exhaust pipes driving away in front of you...that's me.

Bad luck, European Delivery doesn't help. The car MUST go to the US first and get the registration there and then you have to come back with US plates and AMG does all the nice things you dream of to it. No other possibility!
Same with Porsche I guess.

I'm even not sure European Delivery is possible for AMG cars right now. I saw a US bound E55 at AMG but the wife of the owner spoke German perfectly and apparently had close ties to one of the AMG employees. Not sure about it but before you buy the car, make sure European Delivery is possible.

Saw an E55 wagon at the Canada Grand Prix in Montreal a few weeks ago. It was one of the pace cars. Had the dual spoke wheel, large brakes, "kompressor" badge. etc. Looked very nice for a station wagon. Just wondering what kind of person would buy this - presumably for his wife.
