Got my 997S
I finally got it. I bought it off "ossi" on here.
Wonderful man, loved doing business with him, and hope to keep him as a friend.
It is an S-type with the following options:
Seal Grey Metallic
Power Seat Package
Bose High End Sound Package
Navigation for PCM
Black Full Leather
Heated Front Seats
Remote CD Changer (6 Disc)
Wheel Caps with Colored Crest
Floor Mats Interior Color
Has 17,500miles (he had a long commute). It's in AMAZING shape. Looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. I plan on looking into extended warranties just because of the high mileage, but have seen cars with far fewer mileage and much more wear. Trust me when I say that you could not tell the mileage if you didn't look at the odomoter. The stock tires have more than 50% tread, and the clutch catches very crisply. The brake pads are also lessthan 50% used.
Thanks for everyone's advice on everything. I opted to purchase it even without the Sport Chrono. Don't miss it at all.
My purchase price was $67k flat. I think a fair deal for us both, living in Los Angeles.
Now my questions :-)
1) Any good info on extended warranties and tire/wheel warranties?
2) I'd like to add a fire extinguisher mount. Any good info?
3) Does the small little plastic key that came as a spare key also start the car?
